This released was distilled in 2012 and matured in air dried virgin oak casks for 10 years. Bottled in 2023, the other limited edition whisky was matured in kiln dried virgin oak casks, so would be a fascinating comparison to sit down and compare how each maturation style has changed the flavour profile whilst in cask.
